  1. What are the system requirements to run Octopz?

    High speed internet access (recommended)
    Flash Player 8+ (required)

    Browsers supported:

    • PC - Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox 1.5+
    • Mac - Firefox 2.0.0.2+
    • Linux - Firefox 1.5+

  2. Where are the sessions stored?
    Clients may choose between a hosted ASP solution or an on-premise solution.  If you select the hosted ASP version, your files are stored on our secure server farms in the United States. If you choose the on-premise solution, your files are stored behind your company's firewall.

  3. Are my documents secure?

    Yes.  Security within Octopz is based on the following four pillars:

    • Authentication - Verified with a user name and password.
    • Authorization - The user's rights within the application are restricted according to their role - guest, host or administrator.
    • Tracking - All actions of users within the application are logged.
    • Encryption - Integrated 128-bit encryption keeps online sessions and documents safe.

  4. Can I share my screen or applications?
    No, Octopz does not currently allow you to do screen sharing or application sharing.

  5. What if I am experiencing problems with performance?
    Any performance issues you experience are most likely due to bandwidth restrictions (i.e. your connection speed) and not from the operation of Octopz itself.  To test your bandwidth, we recommend the following sites:

  6. What if I need help?

    Online help is available instantly available through comprehensive online help in both text and video format from within the Octopz application.

  7. What post-implementation services do you offer such as training?

    Octopz has been designed to be very easy to use, and to allow users to quickly and easily create their own content.
